Do you ever wish you could capture a moment in your life and savor it and share it with everyone you love? That’s how I feel about the years I lived with my grandparents. My grandma was probably by far the most influential person in my life. Today is her birthday, so today I celebrate her!

Grandma taught me about the important things in life. Not because she preached at my sisters and I but because she lived the example in her life in such a way that made me want to emulate her. I will consider my life a success some day if when I am her age I can be half the woman she is.

One of my favorite things I did with my grandma is cook. With the patience of a saint she allowed me to be right by her side (probably getting in her way) as she prepared various meals or desserts. So I plan to create a page dedicated to her and her influence in my life and feature some of my favorite meals I remember her making.
